DoorTECH recommends the high impact rubber guard or the AluFast . The use of aluminium in both of these guards make them very study if impacted. The downside to the Alufast is that it can only go on wooden doors that open no wider than 100 Degrees. The downside to the high impact rubber guard is being rubber it could potentially still be imploded back into the cavity, therefore it more covers the gap than prevents fingers from entering.
